Denim days 2016 | The Blauw kitchen a New Schotch & Soda | Pijp area

For the occasion of Amsterdam Denim Days 2016 an annual event for fashion forward denim lovers, starting this Monday! I thought I show you my latest denim find in town 'The Blauw kitchen' at de Pijp area, a beautiful addition to the Scotch & Soda store chain.

'The Blauw kitchen' is a beautiful small denim concept store with an interior based on denim, and Japanese denim technics while the white tiles refer to the kitchen and denim lab where can be experimented with different colouring technics.

In the App you'll find a Denim Days special with a small selection of Amsterdam Denim makers and brands, and on the blog I showed some of the most beautiful Amsterdam Denim stores, have a look here if you missed it: Amsterdam Denim Days | brands & stores

All Scotch & Soda stores
Though Scotch & Soda has been around since the 80s, the Amsterdam-based fashion brand as we know it today originates in a brave new start in 2001, when three new owners joined their broad experience and shared love for making great garments.

Scotch’s most ambitious project Amsterdams Blauw hit the stores in December 2010; a compact high profile denim collection. The name Amsterdam Blauw (Amsterdam Blue) comes from the color of paint used to Paint Dutch porcelain in the Golden century.
