La Cabra X Frama Pop-up cafe | Pijp area

For the occasion of the World of Coffee festival, taking place in Amsterdam this week, Danish La Cabra Coffee Roasters teamed up with Frama  and opened a pop-up coffee bar at the Amsterdam Pijp area In the store next to some great coffee, I had my first ever cup of coffee from Burundi! selected furniture and lighting from the Frama collection and cups by KHWürtz especially made for La Cabra.

At the vtwonen & design fair Dutch DIY store Karwei presented their collection in a beautiful hotel setting; 'The Boutique Hotel'. Beautiful decorated with luxury wallpaper by Graham & Brown, all the right colours on the wall and a range of home accessories with a luxury feel in a colour range of intense emerald green to midnight blue it was the talk of town.

DaWanda pop-up store | Pijp area

From online to offline... unique gifts, live crafting and DIY-workshops all in one place that's what DaWanda is planning in their first pop-up store at Gerard Doustraat 76 in the Pijp area. With around 320,000 crafters offering more than 5.3 million products for sale DaWanda is Europe’s biggest online marketplace for handmade products and DIY.

During the two weeks before Christmas you can find the most beautiful, unique gifts, DIY-workshops and special must-haves in the DaWanda pop-up store.  And it’s not all about special gifts, DaWanda also motivates everyone to be creative themselves. The store will provide an opportunity to join DIY-workshops and you can be inspired by watching crafters make things in the store.

POP UP | Pop into Berlin | Utrechtsestraat area - City Centre

Berlin is coming to Amsterdam, in collaboration with VisitBerlin twenty typical Berlin brands will be represented in a temporary pop up store for one week only.

Vintage, art, fashion & design | Pop-up concept store in Hotel De Hallen

From Thursday the 29th of October until Sunday the 1st of November from 10PM - 6AM Hotel De Hallen organizes ‘’Zolder47’’. This is a pop-up concept store in the lobby of Hotel De Hallen. Arjen van den Hof, hotelier and owner of Vondel Hotels, has collected different art and vintage items from Hotel De Hallen, Hotel Vondel, Hotel Roemer and Hotel JL n°76. Together with Joss Linssen, entrepreneur and co-owner of 2F1L they collected a beautiful collection. When strolling around in the lobby, you can find a combination of unique vintage, contemporary art, lifestyle and fashion items.

FoA. Fragments temporary store | Pijp area

End of Januari First of August opened FoA.Fragments at Gerard Douplein 15, a temporary space where the multiple elements of First of August come together: a Store, Stock&Sample Sale and Showroom. I popped in the other day and not only fell in love with their bags collection but also loved the space, an overall white ambience with a dark black painted ceiling. FoA temporary store is open till the 1st of March!

First of August is an Amsterdam-based fashion company of Karlijn Boersma. She graduated at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute and gained a Master degree in Cultural Sociology, with a strong focus on the relation between fashion and sociological trends. The inspiration out of moments in Karlijn’s daily life assembled into the three elements that First of August exists of today; a clothinglabel FoA, an online store and a platform FoA. Academy. First of August invites you to shop, learn and visit!

Nomess Pop Up Store at De Bijenkorf | Join the Instagram challenge

For today's post I teamed up with Nomess Copenhagen and Dutch department store De Bijenkorf.

For my interior design blog Vosgesparis, I travel around Europe with an International team of influencers to discover new design, or even design ourselves! | We designed a range of candles in beautiful black called KOTO with Scandinavian brand Skandinavisk | and work at different fairs. 

This is also how I got to work with Nomess and their products at Designtrade, now called Northmodern where we build up a Bloggerzone. I am in love with their smart storage solutions and they are definitely one of my favourite Scandinavian brands!

A sneak peek in The Loft | Munt area

Earlier we announced the opening of The Loft winter edition, last week there was the opening party and the other day I went back to see it all by daylight and make some pictures for myself. Like last time The Loft surprises with all it's different furniture and objects, beautiful styled together making the place a dream home to live in.

The Vaudeville theatre is located on the 3rd floor on the flower market 'ring the bel' with a great view over the roofs of the inner city. Like last time everything in the Loft is for sale and in the newly launched Loft shop online, so even if you are not in town to have a look yourself , you can still get your hands on everything you see on the pictures!

The Loft is back | Winter edition 2014

The loft is back with a brand new winter edition... in case you missed the breath taking misc of furniture, design, art and craft in the first edition have a look at this former blogpost!

From December 20 till January 4 you can find another dream home at the Vaudeville theatre at the flower market on Singel 512 (3rd floor). Like last time everything in the Loft is for sale and after the loft closes its doors the Loft shop will open online.

THE LOFT Amsterdam | Pop-up store till August 15

'The Loft’ is an annual pop-up store ... and different from all other pop-up stores. It's a store with a selection of hand picked furniture, books, art, and many many!! other items all beautiful styled together.... it's an inspiring place, and home to an eccentric person.

Each year organisers, the Playing Circle will choose a different fictive person with a different character, according to which the collection of furniture, art and accessories will be curated. 

From the carpets on the floor, to the furniture and even the books in the shelves – everything in The Loft will be for sale. I have been here already twice and if you have the change, I think you should go and experience the loft yourself! It's that place where you can wander around and discover new items all the time and where it is hard to leave empty handed.

The One day Shop at Haarlemmerdijk 41 is the place where to shop Arabian Lifestyle for the next few days. Till May 28 you can find El Ramla Hamra, one of the lovely sponsors of my blogs, in the shop.
