Nothing better then eating with a like minded group of people in a beautiful place! When asked to join the dinner of fellow blogger Rene of Roomed in collaboration with designer Nienke Hoogvliet and Hutspot I thought it would be great to invite you as well! Nienke Hoogvliet will have an exposition of her work at Hutspot and will also be decorating the space and table... so you will also get your dose of design!

Christmas tree market at Hutspot | Rozengracht

Hot Chocolate with Marshmallow, Glühwein, and some nice bites like gingerbread and chocolate... and the Thomas Wessels Quantet jazzing up the day! Hutspot is ready for Christmas and organizes a Christmas Tree Market, on December12 at the garden of Hutspot Rozengracht. 

Hutspot | 'Vroege vogels' showcasing young and upcoming talent

Last Sunday 'Vroege Vogels' |early birds| a platform for young and upcoming talent teamed up with several creatives. Fashion designers, artists and singer songwriters were invited for a store-in-store day at Hutspot, where they could showcase and sell their work to the shopping public at Hutspot on the van Woustraat in the De Pijp area.

Last year I wrote about Hutspot Amsterdam, where young and upcoming creative talents have the opportunity to sell their products in their own space within the shop (see: Hutspot Amsterdam) They recently re-opened the concept at their new location, Van Woustraat 4. (Abert Cuyp area) Last week I went to check it out and here is a short impression of the new shop ... pretty amazing space !

Hutspot Amsterdam

Hutspot: Hodge Podge/Hodge Potch: a mixture, a jumble of styles;
a thick soup, a hearty Dutch winter dish

Hutspot is a brand new store/shop concept, centrally located in Amsterdam These pictures are made in the shop at Utrechtstestraat. In the shop young and upcoming creative talents have the opportunity to sell their products in their own space within the shop. Currently more than 35 different brands.

Literally everything is for sale… the artwork, the wall garden, the lighting fixtures, cupboards and shelving, the old 90cc Vespa scooter, even the cash register. Everything that is, except the shop dog, “Gumbo”.

The location on Utrechtsestraat is now closed. Hutspot will open it's doors in December again at their new adress: Van Woustraat 4 (Albert Cuyp area) A 2nd store opened at Rozengracht 204-210 at Jordaan | Rozengracht
