Noord | NDSM

If you fancy a small and free boat trip to the other side of the water.. you can take the free ferry to the Northern part of Amsterdam, you can bring your bike with you for free as well. NDSM can be easily reached by taking the free ferry which leaves outside the Northern entrance of Central Station, and brings passengers and their bikes here in about 15 minutes.
NDSM Dock is one of those raw parts of town that is up-and-coming. The old shipyards have only been slightly altered in order to host events such as festivals, flea markets and fashion shows, and the area is a popular location for photo shoots. Other characteristic old buildings have been refurbished and are now offices for creative companies, or function as artist workshops and ateliers.

Please note we are working on the site!

A complete list with my favourite locations in this area, more info and opening hours of the specific locations can be found in our Amsterdam city guide APP AMS NXT
